[Given enough time, Rune will be able to meditate and store up another Healing spell. But it'll be slow going, especially with his injury and without the use of a Sanctuary here in this place. Better to make himself comfortable while he does. At least then he won't get carjacked along with the car, if someone else were to come along and find him.
The other guy is gruff, at least in the way he orders Rune around, but the words are softer than he expects them to be and it has Rune nodding, obeying them faster than he might otherwise have done. He really does appreciate all the help he's offered. Honestly, he could have just left him there by the side of the road -- or worse.]
Yeah. Thanks. [He makes a move toward the Jeep, pulling open the passenger door and taking a breath before awkwardly hauling himself in. He manages to settle more or less without jarring his arm in any other way that makes him feel like throwing up again, before he sits back in the seat with a sigh. He turns to his new companion with a wan smile before offering.]
Amos. [ The guy might have made some frankly stupid choices, in Amos' mind, but he figures now that he's here and settled in the passenger seat, he wants to see it through. Wants the guy to be — well, as okay as anyone can be here. He sure doesn't need a thank you for the effort, but some people are just like that. Good people, generally.
Once Rune's settled, though, Amos gets the car started and heads on down the road. ]
So what happened to you before you ended up here?
[ The injuries on him aren't exactly minor. Amos had seen quite a few others beat up pretty bad, but this puts Rune at a hell of a disadvantage to start with. Gonna take the guy a while to heal, he assumes. ]
