But after the initial shock, suddenly it all seems to make sense. So much had happened, and so much had yet to happen still, but — and more importantly, there is a certain, beloved Warrior of Light they must speak with, to clear the air, and to understand that some things should not have been kept secret for months here, even when they'd been so behind in time.
(And of course Alphinaud catches the slightest wince in his sister's expression, because they're twins and he knows her better than anyone, but he assumes it's a response to understanding what they'd both had to remember, and why they're returning to the Sanctum like they have some hell to raise.)
If Aria had ever expected the twins to catch up with her within the timeline, she should probably be anticipating their swift arrival at her door — quite literally slamming their fists against it with enough fury and determination to begin alerting some of their neighbours, their persistence is so loud.
They're just a hair's breadth away from kicking right through her door to find her.
He isn't above blasting it down with a spell. ]
Aria! Aria, we are well aware you're home.

... Okay, maybe a touch longer than usual; she was sleeping. The dorm rooms are small enough that the air tends to heat up pretty quickly, and she's nothing but a sucker for heat. So what starts as a "comfortable" reading session of a stuffy old book about outdated astrophysics concepts on her bed turns into ... a nap. Jolts awake at the sound of fists on doors, the book sliding off the bed and on the floor as she grunts and sits up, but it's the voices that have her rush out of bed.
Is it G'raha? Ardbert? Estinien? Or is the whole city descending into chaos again? ( She heard the urgency in their tone and just started moving. Didn't really think about what was being said. ) ]
One second—
[ Her shirt and pants are rumpled, and all the flyaway hair have escaped her pony tail. She opens the door anyway. ]
I'm here. What happened?
