when it wants to be seen, castiel's hitchhiker isn't hard to spot. sometimes it's wearing his coat, sometimes it isn't. but for whatever reason, it's always sporting a tropical patterned bikini bottom, and nothing else (aside from the aforementioned coat), like it was stationed in front of a forever 21 and never got the memo about its new assignment. it will simply stare, watching you from afar from various locals— atop a roof, between gas station pumps, at the end of a grocery store aisle.
but when you return to your car or room, you'll find that something is different. that food you were saving? replaced with a single egg. the tub drain? clogged inexplicably with dollar store jelly.
your car? full of bees.
castiel himself can be found in the motel, in his room. he'll open the door (or answer the phone) for anyone who wants him. he's noticed his stalker, but he hasn't chosen to do anything about it, even though his right eye is already a translucent, plastic white, and the hair on the same side of his head is falling out in clumps. he's also missing one (1) beige trench coat.
