Pauli Jones had loved to speak out loud about all of the things he'd been pondering and fiddling with. An Zhe believed that simply listening had ended up being his real duty as an assistant, even if he was unable to contribute in any meaningful way. Pauli had never seemed to mind. He'd probably be happy that An Zhe had tried so hard to pay attention.
