After their intense and not altogether great conversations recently, Charles knows that he reached her, he saw his sister still there. He told Scott that she was a good person, and whoever she became decades from now, it's not his Raven. He can only imagine the pain his future self had that knew how far she and Erik had moved out of his grasp, the distance making it so that he never even spoke of her anymore.
