They're as much a fantasy so many people as a vampire or a demon, but they all happen to be real in his world, real and very present. Yes, they were created by the Almighty God, the deity of our world. He calls himself Chuck and he's a bad person, although I don't think he always was, he's just been alive a very long time.

[ Jack is pretty forgiving and open-minded. He may plan on killing his grandfather because he has to, but he believes that it's impossible he was always cruel and violent.
